Now, many patients can have biochemical examinations here, without having to travel many kilometres to find a well-equipped laboratory that can accommodate them.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Il progetto, realizzato da marzo a ottobre 2023, ha visto l\u2019acquisto dei seguenti apparecchi di laboratorio:<br \/>\n\u2022 Un distillatore di acqua<br \/>\n\u2022 Un\u2019autoclave (per la sterilizzazione degli strumenti di lavoro)<br \/>\n\u2022 Un bagno maria<br \/>\n\u2022 Un termostato (per l\u2019incubazione di tanti reazioni in laboratorio)<br \/>\n\u2022 Un lettore di immunologia I CHROMA II<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Blessed Luigi Tezza\u2019 Health Centre in Kakumbo is run by the Institute of the Daughters of St. Camillus, a Catholic religious congregation whose mission is the quality care of the sick, especially the poorest and most abandoned, following the example of St. Camillus De Lellis. This \u2018centre\u2019, opened in 2009 by missionary sisters, responds to a pressing health need of the population in the villages of Kokumbo, Niamkey Konankro and other surrounding villages. In this centre, paediatric consultations, consultations for adults, for the elderly, and patients with Buruli Ulcers are treated.
