Cookie Policy
PRIVACY POLICY (simplified)
Privacy policy’s aims is to provide maximum transparency regarding the information that the site collects and how it uses it. In compliance with the obligations deriving from national legislation (Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, Personal Data Protection Code, and subsequent amendments) and European legislation (European Regulation for the protection of personal data no. 679/2016, GDPR), this site respects and protects the privacy of visitors and users, making every possible and commensurate effort not to violate users’s rights.
This site does not publish advertisements, nor does it use data for the purpose of sending advertisements, but it does make use of third-party services in order to improve the use of the site, third parties who may collect user data and to send personalised advertisements on other sites. However, this website makes every effort to protect your privacy and minimise the collection of personal data. For example, the site sometimes uses YouTube videos, which are set up so that no cookies are sent (and therefore no data is collected) until the user starts the video. You can see, in fact, that instead of the video there is only a placeholder. The site also uses social plugins to make it easier to share articles on social networks. These plugins are configured in such a way that they send cookies (and thus possibly collect data) only after the user has clicked on the plugin.
For your information, we would like to point out that the management of cookies is complicated, both on the part of the site operator (who may not be able to manage third-party cookies correctly) and on the part of the user (who may block cookies that are essential to the operation of the site). Therefore, a better and simpler way to protect privacy is to use anti-tracking tools, which block tracking by websites. We recommend the use of Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin.
For more information you can read the full policy below.
Full disclosure
Legal basis of processing
This website processes data mainly on the basis of the users’ consent. Consent is given by the banner at the bottom or on top of the page, or through the use or consultation of the site, as conclusive behaviour.
