Salute e Sviluppo (SeS) is an Association ETS (Ente Terzo Settore) founded in 1996 and recognised as a non-governmental organisation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2003. It is registered in the List of CSOs at the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).

SeS works alongside the Camillians inspired by St. Camillus’ great humanity toward the sick, the poor and the needy. Camillians are a Hospitaller Religious Order founded in 1582 that works in more than 40 countries around the world.

SeS aims to improve the health conditions of people in developing countries and contribute to their growth and autonomy.

Promotes projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America in the social-health and human development fields with delegations of the Hospitaller Order of St. Camillus and other institutions.

It builds hospitals, schools and aqueducts and implements development projects for food production and animal husbandry.

In Italy, Salute e Sviluppo informs and raises awareness on issues related to global education.

Our VISION is “a world where all people have the opportunities to live in health, well-being and economic independence in a context of peace, respect for human rights and intercultural dialogue.”

Our MISSION is “toimprove the living conditions of every individual, particularly the most vulnerable (children and women), by promoting equitable and sustainable development processes in access to health and education services, social and economic empowerment.”
