Ouagadougou IPSCA grows

Not long ago we told you about theIstituto PrivĂ© de SantĂ© Saint Camille de Lellis (IPSCA) in Ouagadougou, a nursing study centre that has established itself on the country’s health scene for the high specialisation it offers its students, who come not only from Burkina Faso, but also from as many as 12 other African nations. The last project we were involved in involved the installation of solar panels, an activity that we completed and which gave the Institute the opportunity to take advantage of numerous benefits both economically and in terms of sustainability.

Our support for Snehadaan Hospital

Just a few months ago, we inaugurated two projects in favour of Snehadaan Hospital in India, the first concerning the purchase of an ambulance and dialysis equipment, the second the construction of a rainwater well and the installation of a wastewater treatment plant.

Green mission in Georgia completed!

At the beginning of this 2023, we told you about the project that we at Salute e Sviluppo decided to initiate in Georgia: ‘Solar energy for a GREEN mission!’, which consisted of the purchase and installation of no less than 90 solar panels of about 300 watts each, with the associated energy production and storage facility.

The Solidarity Christmas of Salute e Sviluppo

The Christmas season is just around the corner, but the initiatives of 2023 are not yet over, and there is a way to continue supporting us: on 28 November the annual Christmas market will be held at the CRAL degli Operatori Socio Sanitari del Rhodense exhibition centre, with a wide selection of Christmas gifts and home accessories, all handmade with lots of love and imagination by our volunteers.

The new beds at the Chantaburi Retirement Home

The ‘Bed Replacement for the Chanthaburi Rest Home – Camillian Social Centre’ project run by the Camillian delegation in Thailand has just ended. The home houses 120 elderly people, some of whom pay a modest fee, while others receive medical care completely free of charge.

Another milestone in Kokumbo

The project ‘Purchase of laboratory equipment for the Luigi Tezza Health Centre in Kokumbo’ has just been completed. As we have already told you, Kokumbo is a village in the Ivory Coast, a country where there are still many shortages, especially in rural areas. For more than 10 years, the Daughters of St. Camillus have been active in the country, carrying out mainly health and welfare projects.
